Scrapbook Mini Album: “Sisters” 6″x9″ Gate Fold Album

Hi, everyone! I wanted to share with you my completed “Sisters” gate fold mini album which I created for my friend’s biorthday using the Graphic 45 “Once Upon a Springtime” paper collection. It is an 6″x9″ chipboard album, bound with the Bind-It-All. It wasn’t easy to keep it flat enough to function, but I love how it turned out. It also meets a request I have for a spring themed album tutorial. I hope you enjoyed the video & the completed project. I worked on this project during my UStream show, so there won’t be any YouTube step-by-step tutorials, but you can view the UStream recordings at the links below. @catnapquilts Since I was trying? to keep this mini pretty flat, I cut the photo wallet in half & just used one side. Thank you for watching & commenting!

@The5blessings I created the album entirely on my UStream show & every step of the album’s creation is recorded and linked in the video description. The particular pocket that you are interested in was created during Part Ten of the album & the tutorial starts about one hour and ten minutes into that recording. To see it, just expand this video’s description, click the? link for Part Ten & skip ahead to 1:10:00. Thanks for watching!
@luyandol Oh, I’m so glad that I’ve given you? some inspiration for your own album! This was such fun paper to play with ~ you are going to have a blast!
Enjoy yourself so much & thanks for watching and commenting!
@3239861 Thank you so much! I do try very hard in my albums to have a balance between pages with plenty of room for photos and journaling & pages with lots of pretty elements and designs. I love both the memory preservation side of scrapping and the artistic, technique-driven playful side of scrapbooking. It’s not always easy to marry them together, but I do try my very best.
? Thanks so much for watching & commenting & have fun playing with your pretties!
@vmtee I don’t know why you don’t? have it, either, since you need it ~ go grab it! lol!
oh how i love this album! how did you make? the pocket?
